 Sheriff's vehicles collide
Spirit Lake Police Department press release:
On December 11, 2009 at approximately 10:31 pm, the Spirit Lake Police Department
investigated a traffic accident at the intersection of Keokuk Avenue and 20th Street in Spirit
Lake. The accident involved 2 Dickinson County Deputies, both in their patrol vehicles. The
deputies were responding to an emergency call and had their emergency lights and siren
activated. Due to weather and roadway conditions, it was determined that no one was at
fault. There was disabling damage done to both vehicles. No injuries were reported at the
time of the accident.
