Traffic Stop Leads to Three Arrests 8-28-20

On August 28, 2020 at around 2:07am, a deputy initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle south of Milford on Highway 71 for suspicion of operating while under the influence.

The deputy asked the driver, Eduardo Gomez Andrade (28) of Estherville, to perform some field sobriety tests.  Gomez Andrade was placed under arrest for operating while intoxicated after completing the tests.  Gomez Andrade was also charged with driving without a license, and improper lane change.

Upon further investigation, two passengers were also arrested for drug related charges.  Nabil Moussaddak, (34) of Estherville, was charged with possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), and possession of a controlled substance (cocaine).  Nathaniel Dirksen, (30) of Hampton, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

The DCSO was assisted by the Milford Police Department.

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
